Ok, so this blogging stuff is harder to keep up with than i thought.

I was just reading some personal profiles. Yea on my home page it does mention that I am singele, so I do look at a few of those sites. I have never taken any kind of action with a dating site, other than looking. So, I am looking at profiles and the first thing you see is the username or screen name. The username that prompted me to write this was a woman who is single and uses a name with the "B" word in it. I think to myself why does a woman ever think by adding that in her name will make her more attractive to a person of the opposite sex. Oh YEA!! I want a woman who says she's a "B" That is so attractive. I can ..oh.. I should say no offence if you are reading this and you have a screen name like that.

That is all that I am thinking about now, and I will loose no sleep over it. In fact, I will go get some now!

Another weekend has passed and another couple DJ jobs are in the book. Friday I played the County Line. Not a great crowd, but those that were there seemed to have a good time. I am not crazy nor di I get upset when the place i am playing is not packed with people. In fact, in the summer, I know there are so many other things going on that it is somewhat expected. Saturday I played a cash party for the Trough Creek Valley Sportsman club. It was at the Sportsmans' Clubs building and seemed to be 120 degrees when i got there. It is a block building and no AC. I brought my own fan and it helped, but it didn't help keep people there. By the time they were done calling numbers there was only a handful of people there, and they didn't feel like getting even more hot and sweaty. I felt happy that i didn't take a large sound system in.

This week is the Huntingdon County Fair. Since i do the website, I plan on trying to be there every evening. The biggest problem i see this year is the weather forcast is calling for rain a lot of the week.

It has been a few days since i have written anything in the blog. I have been pretty busy. It is already Thursday and i am getting ready to go play music. I am not sure why the weeks seem to go faster and faster, and at times i don't think i get much done. I guess that is not so true. I did do a web site thei weekend and spent a whole day shopping with a friend in State College. I also got to try Red Lobster for the first time in my life. I think there are a few more resteraunts in State College I would like to try. The Roadhouse Steakhouse to name on.

Yesterday my former art teacher Dick Cummins called me from the hospital in McConnelsburg. He was having heart problems. I believe he has told me his family has a history of heart problems. I think he is 61 now. I have not talked to him today but plan on calling him later. He was scheduled for a heart catherization today and i am not sure if he will be able to talk, so i am not sure. I may wait until tomorrow to call him.

I did finish a web site today. Got paid for it and now waiting for the dns number to point to my server for it to go live. It was hosted with yahoo, so i am thinking tomorrow i will be on the phone with yahoo all day trying to make it work.

 

Time to go and will write more the next time i have time, enjoy.
